Job Summary: Responsible for administering therapy modalities or treatment as supervised by the PT, OT, or speech therapist based on a current plan of care outlined by the evaluating therapist. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Technician assists with cardiac rehabilitation in the taking of vitals and providing the information to the Rehab nurse/staff. They will work in the outpatient and inpatient side of rehabilitation to ensure continuous flow of patient care and preparing patients for therapy. The rehabilitation technician assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The Rehabilitation technician participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.

Regulatory Requirements:

• Holds current CPR certification.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
